Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Villas Foch Boutique Hotel & Spa in Bordeaux, I relished an extraordinary gourmet getaway that will stay with me long after my trip. The breakfast each morning was a delightful experience, artfully presented and offering a selection of local delicacies that truly captured the essence of French cuisine. One morning, I savored a beautifully crafted pastry paired with robust local coffee from the espresso machine in my room. It was a perfect start before exploring the vibrant city. The attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining preferences were met, even helping secure reservations at local gems that were otherwise hard to book. Set against the backdrop of stunning sandstone architecture and lush greenery, the restaurant and bar at the hotel offered an intimate ambiance for evening unwindings. This place is a food lover's dream, making it an exceptional base for exploring Bordeaux's culinary scene.
